Lia's First Stitches
...and hopefully the last ones too ; )
Lia was climbing on the couch and must have climbed onto the armrest part and then lost her balance and fell off. It appears she hit a plant pot or plant stand on the way down. The result was a small gash just under her eyebrow that needed 4 stitches. Poor baby.
The first photo was taken after the stitches were put in, and the other photos were taken at the ER.
At the ER, they first taped a cotton ball to her head with some numbing and antiseptic medicine on it.
Getting stitches was a traumatic experience.
She liked the popsicle the nurse brought her afterwards.
