A great start to the summer season - the Stratford Knolls Sharks won their first meet since 2013. And AJ broke two league records!

AJ is wearing his white cap with the blue shark and the name Wong. Lia and Anna wear identical suits and green Sharks caps. Lia wears turquoise goggles. Anna wears pink goggles.

Anna 100 IM - yes, Anna swam the 100IM which is a 12 and under event, and she swam it on her 9th birthday.

This was their open age boys relay team for the 200M Medley. AJ swims the breaststroke leg. His teammates give him a height boost for photos.



AJ received a celebratory push into the pool fully clothed at the end of the meet.

AJ's first long course (Olympic length 50-meter pool) meet ever!

He placed third in all three events. In some videos he finishes faster than third, but that was because there was another heat with faster swimmers.

His times qualified him in all three events for the Long Course Age Group Championship meet later this summer.

End of year school assembly: Completion of 6th grade for AJ, 4th grade for Lia, and 3rd grade for Anna. All three kids received outstanding commendation during the awards! All three received the highest character award, the Joshua godly servant leadership medal. All three received Academic Achievement medals (honor roll). Lia had perfect attendance for the year; AJ and Anna had outstanding attendance.

In addition to awarding the certificates and medals, the teachers take a couple of minutes to talk about each student and specifically to recognize a particular godly character trait they've seen in that student throughout the year.





This was the first end of school year assembly in the gymnasium of the new building.
