AJ at Indianapolis Swim Meet

AJ travelled with 40 swimmers on RMSC's National Team to the National Club Swimming Association summer long course championship in Indianapolis. He competed in 5 individual events and also relays. The team enters two relay teams per relay event (so, total of 8 swimmers for each relay event). AJ ended up swimming in 3 relay events, gaining a mention as a contributor to team points in an article posted on the club website: https://rmscswimming.com/news/2023/9/12/rmsc-national-team-ends-the-summer-strong-in-three-cities

Neighborhood Swim Meet Invitationals

Multiple league records broken by the Sharks at Invitationals this year. The Boys 200M Medley Relay (the foursome, including AJ, pictured below) took down the standing league record by nearly 2 seconds! AJ swam the fly leg.

AJ (in the purple cap) finished first in the 15-18 Boys Fly race and is the new league record holder. The two top finishers both beat the standing record time.

AJ finished second in the 15-18 Boys Breaststroke race. Both AJ and the top finisher (who he trains with in year-round club swim) clocked times faster than the league record, but his friend got first in this one.

Another close race with AJ and his friend finishing first and second (AJ got second).

Teen Camp

Bee sting

AJ was the representative from his cabin competing in the watermelon eating leg of an activity relay.

Anna represented her cabin in an egg toss and made it down to the final three.

AJ is in a blue tank roughly in middle back filling up his water shooter. Lia and her friend are to the right in black shirts.
