Sometimes after church we eat at California Tortilla. They have an assortment of very hot sauces. This is one of the hottest ones there. AJ and Daddy tried it and burned their mouths.

Our Christmas tree was in the enclosed porch/sunroom this year. So the kids had to put jackets in order to get the presents and bring them inside.


AJ surprised the whole family by staying up the night before to write a note of gratitude to the entire family! (Wow!) And he had put something special in everyone's stocking too!
















AJ's big gift from Santa this year was a telescope. But he had been saving up money, and scored a great deal just before Christmas on a used starter percussion set (snare, bells, stands, sticks, lesson book, etc.). He plans to start lessons with a local youth band and orchestra group soon.

Our final day at the parks was spent at Hollywood Studios, where we rode the extremely popular new Toy Story ride, posed for pictures with several characters, and where AJ and his friend Matt earned diplomas at the Jedi Training Academy!
