Lia's 14th Bday
This was a belated birthday getaway for Lia and a couple of friends to an amusement park. Carmen was still in a cast from recent foot surgery, so used one of the park's electric wheelchairs to get around for the day.
Lia's 13th Birthday pt 1
We surprised Lia and a few of her friends with an outdoor animal experience for her birthday. It was very cold outside and there was a lot of snow and ice on the ground. But we still got to see numerous animals including several kangaroos and wallabies, a porcupine, large bunnies, and emus.
Lia's 12th Birthday
Lia and her friend Emmie share birthdays only a few days apart. So, we coordinated with Emmie's family to have a combined Lia and Emmie pizza and cupcake party at school for lunch.
And yes, that is big brother AJ being the classroom lunch monitor and leading the class in the "Happy Birthday" song.
We also went as a family with two of Lia's friends to one of those indoor ninja warrior places.
