A signature event at the mini-meet (which is a meet exclusively for kids 10 and under) is a t-shirt relay. An oversized adult t-shirt has to be worn by the starting swimmer of the relay, and passed onto each swimmer and worn every leg of the relay. It is really hard to swim with the extra weight of a baggy t-shirt!

This is a meet that has no individual heats, all relay races. It was a bit chaotic with a lot of teams participating and the kids having to be on the correct sides of the pool for their legs of the races. Here are just a couple of videos we took. There was actually a relay (don't have it on video) where Lia was cheering on Anna as she was approaching touching the wall, but the next swimmer was MIA! So Lia put on her goggles and jumped in for a lap of freestyle.
